Humrush is a group founded by brothers Torkjel (keyboards) and Halvard (guitar) from Kristiansand on the southern tip of Norway. Humrush's music is best described groovy and easy to dance to. Biggest influences are funk, jazz, hip-hop and electronic music. Humrush is also great fans of the Beach Boys.

The band's most active time was from 1999 to 2001, with the last song being made early 2002.

Since then, Torkjel has studied in Australia for years where he worked together with Christian Tanberg. Some of their songs are now available on the sounds section. Torkjel now lives in Japan.

Halvard on the other hand has been heavily involved with rapper Salvador and "Darkside of the Force". New album to be released in 2006!
